Ability to educate patients regarding instillation of eye drops and other instructions related to physician’s treatment plan.Ability to perform comprehensive work ups.Occasionally assists physician with laser procedures, injections, and minor procedures.Troubleshoots equipment as necessary projector, tonopen, autoclave. Maintains a smooth flow of patients to the physician, altering the test sequence as needed.Contacts patients who have no showed to appointments and reschedule as needed.Provides back-up to the ophthalmic photographer performing OCT’s Maintains back up levels of supply stock in exam and procedure rooms. Maintains cleanliness in exam and procedure rooms.Performing opening and closing duties inventory count, prepping drugs as needed, sterile instruments.
